Fall 2021 Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge: Week 3

HALFWAY THERE! AND THE TILE IS HERE! 

Although I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do in this bathroom, I really needed to see and touch the tile to finish the design phase. Lucky for me, the beautiful Aquamarine Jeffrey Court tile I’ll be using arrived. Now it’s super go time. 

First order of business is to finalize the grout color. I decided the best way was to head to The Home Depot with tile in hand and grab a bunch of color swatches from the BEHR wall. There are so many fun directions I could go with this, but I think I have it narrowed down. 

These were the first two setups I was leaning toward. While I’m super digging the Lime Tree option for grout color, I quickly decided that it may be a better pop of color for somewhere else in the space. White is also out because, YAWN! Kidding...totally kidding. There is a time and place for white grout, but a bathroom shared by five of us is not the place. 

So this is where I landed. Teal Motif is the front runner. It’s going to be so dreamy! I’m going to sleep on it, check them out in the morning with fresh eyes and commit. I better commit, because there are only 3 weeks left of this challenge. Yikes!
